Hey you people, thanks to all for your comments over the last few days. Yup, you all have made 'Jannat' a success (as we all know by now) and as I finally catch up some time to rest (last few weeks have been crazy man, it has been studio to interviews to studios to airports to media events to shooting....ok, so I will stop here; I am sure you get the point :-).
I couldn't reply to each of you individually though I must say it was overwhelming to see the way so many of you reacted to the film pre and post the release!
So thank you Sabah (from Pakistan) and Ritz for seeing the film and liking it! I am glad I and the film met the kind of expectations you had. Sabah, you had asked whether Lahore girls were chasing me and how did I find the reception in Pakistan? Well, let me cut the chasing part (you know how modest I am, right?) but yup, Pakistan rocked! It was a surreal experience to be there surrounded by hundreds of media folks and audience alike!
Santhosh - Sirf trailer hi dekha ya picture bhi? Watch it and tell me how you liked it!
Shona (Hey, I like the name) - Did you finally get the DVD in Sydney? And I hope you would be watching it only the original DVD! As a true fan and follower of my work, you would disappoint me if you see it on a pirated DVD!
Kaajal and Sabah - Kajol, you have to try convincing Sabah on whether it is indeed me who is typing this right now! While you feel that I write well (well, thanks for that), Sabah suspects that it is someone working for me (even though it is that 10% of hers which feels so :-) Well, let me ask these Bollywood Hungama guys to share my video as well while I am writing the blog! :-)
Raj - I am not too sure about my visit to Canada in next few weeks, let's see! But ya, do watch the film if you haven't so far.
Rosa, Varun, Gagan, Rishi, Sabah - Did you get a chance to watch the movie so far? And Rosa, if in Peru you are planning to watch 'Jannat', refer to my comment on what I wrote to Shona above!
Amrita - Girl, you want me launch you as an actress? :-) Well, I am hardly involved in casting in my films. Why don't you speak to my producers, it is them who always take a final call when it comes to deciding my co star :-)
Zehra - You want me to get away from serial kissing? Remember I had hardly any in 'Awarapan' while it was in minimal doses in 'Jannat' too. Well, I am trying, I am trying! ;-)
Aina - You liked 'Door Na Ja'? Well, good to hear that since it was one of my favorite tracks as well. Such a pity that we couldn't place it in the film though I would have loved to have it on!
Suhaan - You naughty boy! You wanted to know how my co-star experienced 'Jannat' when I kissed her. Well, why don't you ask her? |

| The Bhatt camp is known to have given the film industry many stars but the one who stands out among the current lot is none other than ‘Serial-Kisser’ Emraan Hashmi. He may not have had your typical chocolate boy looks but he did have the girls screaming for him as he made love to Mallika Sherawat in the smash hit Murder. He is also probably one of the few lucky actors whose songs become chartbusters irrespective of the fate of his films. This ‘Bad-Boy’ of Bollywood Ne Apni Adaaon Se Sabko Apna Aashiq Bana Diya. Currently looking forward to his new films like Jannat and Raaz 2,Bollywood Hungama brings you a chance to interact with Emraan Hashmi through his blog. So don’t miss this chance to read about Emraan Hashmi’s views on films and everything else under the sky, only on your favorite Bollywood website BollywoodHungama.com |
