The role of Nisha in Dil To Pagal Hai was offered to Raveen Tandon, Juhi Chawla, Kajol, Manisha Koirala and Shilpa Shetty. They all turned it down. Ironically, Karisma Kapoor, who finally took the role, won the Film fare Best Supporting Actress Award for her performance.
