Very sixties
The set has been done up in a monotone format; black curtains, white balloons and silver festoons.

The costumes too bear a heavy sixties stamp
Soha is dolled in a black-n-white bouffant outfit
Shahid is in a dinner jacket-bow and waistband.
Waah! Kya Scene Hain…
The shot has Shahid and Soha do some heavy-duty dance movements. While this Shaimak student gets his steps bang on, Soha seems to have trouble with her steps. The choreography is rock-and-roll and has some hi-energy moves. Shahid brings the yesteryear style ala Shammi Kapoor, while Soha has to do a take on mom, Sharmila.
Apart from being a nimble footer, Shahid's a hard-worker. Our camera trains on the Ishq Vishk cutie who is constantly rehearsing and perfects each step. Soha though, isn't able to keep pace as we catch her struggle. Vaibhavi sits her down and explains the movements to Soha. Soha quickly memorizes them and kicks practice. Co-star Shahid gives her company. Vaibhavi looks happier with the results. Incidentally, the film cracks open with this number.
Vaibhavi presses for more rehearsals…
“If it's a mass song, I insist on rehearsals. They do a world of good to the final product but if it's a duet number, then spontaneity is my bet. So, I work on both extremes, looking for best results.” explains the ace choreographer.
Vaibhavi happens to be Aishwarya's favorite choreographer. From Hum Dil… to Dil Ka Rishta and Kuch Naa Kaho, Vaibhavi works wonders with Aishwarya. Abhishek is another pet with the classical danseuse. She recently choreographed the 'One luv…' track from Rakht.
Back to the shoot…
Rehearsals are full on. The chorus dancers are an enthusiastic bunch who, just don't seem to tire of the countless dance lessons that are asked of them.
They go for a take. This time around, Soha shows remarkable improvement. A beaming Vaibhavi okays the shot. The unit goes into a break.

This romantic comedy has a bouquet of fresh faces. Shahid Kapur, Tulip Joshi, Ayesha Takia and debutant Soha Ali Khan.

Life is bliss for Nikhil who lives in Samarpur. A football freak, he's totally kicked about Neha. But the ambitious girl swooshes off to Mumbai to realize her career goals. Nikhil follows her to Mumbai where he bumps into Sarah and Shagun. His efforts to win Neha fail and she bids bye! Nikhil feels completely lost and his brief relation with Sarah is what begins to tick.... Just when love begins to sink in, his life plays a googly leaving Nikhil confused on the love lane…
