What Meghna Naidu wants to learn from Rani?

The Hawas hottie has finally decided to trade her skimpy wear for some lessons in acting. Meghna Naidu will be playing the role of a blind girl in Amol Shetgi's Rain. Has the sterling Black have anything to do with it? “No. Rain has nothing to do with Sanjay Bhansali's Black. The film was conceived 6 months back and there is a whole lot of groundwork that's gone into in” she avers.
So how does she plan to play the character? “Well, one of my closest friend is visually impaired. She is organizing workshops for me. I think this would really help me understand the world of the blind much better' Meghna smiles. And adds, “But Rani is one actress I really look up to. So I wouldn't mind picking a few acting tips from her, for the character” So would that mean it's 'sayonara' time for the sex kitten that she stepped into Bollywood as? “Not really. I came into Bollywood with the glam doll image and that is going nowhere. But just like any other artist, I too need a creative change. I have done my share of dancing & singing. Now this role is a huge welcome for me' she says, looking pleased.
And how does Meghna react to label sexy? “I guess it's fine if people find me attractive” she says coyly. Meghna, attractive is a mild word, men call you their fantasy female, how about that? “If I can be hot & glamorous, I don't see anything wrong with that“ the voluptuous vixen gets defensive. “But I am very much trying to do different roles” she goes clich?n the same breath.
Getting back to Rain, apart from portraying a physical handicap, can she spill something more about her role? “My role basically is that of an educated blind girl who is trying to make a living in an urban society” Naidu tells us. Any pipeline projects that she did like to talk about? “Why not? My forthcoming films are Jackpot with Himanshu Mallik, Mashooka and Ishq Diwana” Meghna rattles off the list. “And all these films will give you the hot and saucy Meghna that my fans know!” she laughs. And we know that 'Rain' is just a mild shower, the sexpot is here to stay…
