'Mooch' Ado about nothing!

Some think that his mouche looks odd
Others feel it's just about okay
While there are still some who think
mouche or no mouche, he is still King Khan
Paheli is the film in question that has Shahrukh Khan sport a tingly moustache. Veer-Zaara had a considerable chunk of him wear wrinkles and silver streaks. Asoka too where instead of fixing hair extensions to suit the character of an emperor, Shahrukh preferred to grow shoulder length hair. And like everything else that the star does, this time it's his mouche that is massing talk. We recently met the superstar at the music release of his film where we asked him the Paheli behind his moustache…
Dressed in a crisp white shirt and his favorite pair of denims, the actor looked a bit amused at all the talk that his new look has generated. “Well, yes I do have a moustache in the film. I mean the film has a period setting so its essential that I belong to that era & not look like a cool dude from Bandra” he quips. And does the buzz bother him. “Well, its fine with me as long as the mouche doesn't override the movie” he replies with a dicey hint to his voice.
“But to think that people are going to want to watch Paheli because, 'Oh Shahrukh has a mouche in it' is to belittle the film. I think its being unfair to both the film and the people associated with it. And that is not something that I would want for a maker of the caliber of Amol” SRK points out. 'Baki toh, I play 2 characters both of who have a mouche. "Toh mooch wahi hain, bas poonch alag hain” the dimpled star chuckles.
We get your point SRK, there is mooch more to Paheli than just this…
