Genetics orders that twins be physically alike, photocopies. But Priyanka's twin is burly, wears a pair of glasses, is middle aged and is her dad! Then how did the former Miss.World fit the connection?
She laughs, “Well, when I say dad and I are twins, I mean it at a more mental level. We are so alike; we think alike, have similar tastes and are basically similar people. Mom almost refuses to believe that father and daughters can be so similar!” Priyanka tells us. And may be she even envies that a bit, we humor her. “Yeah, but then she's a doll, she loves both of us dear!” the actor in a hugging white tee remarks.
Daddy's little girl
I will always be daddy's little girl. I have always looked up to him in many ways. The way he conducts himself both personally and professionally inspires me a great deal. Coming from an army background, he has instilled values of being independent very early in me. But he is also there to support & cheer me whenever I need him around.
“Hey, that's my dad!”
He has always been a people's person. All the time into dramatics and into acting, he never missed a chance to be on stage. And I remember standing next to him during shows when he used to perform. And when I was with the audiences, I used to tap on people's shoulders and proudly say, “Hey, that's my dad!” I am pretty sure that it's from him that I got my acting bug!

“We do have our fights, our disagreements & our yes & no's, but ultimately, we call it truce. Has there been any instance where a discussion got a little bitter? “There have been times when both of us disagreed but nothing's been so severe that our relation got bitter. I think that's because both of us value our relation so much that we wouldn't say or do anything that would jeopardize our bond. No argument is that important” the talented actor comes clear.
To my Dad…
“Finally, I did like to tell him that I will never do anything that he dislikes or disapproves of. Dad, I love you very much. And I hope you let me continue being your 'little daughter'
