Looks like Esha Deol is all set to revive the Hippie trend in India. The cult which spread like a virus in the 70’s had a unique style of displaying their religious belief with style. Inscribing religious visible tattoos on the body was a part of Hippie styling and guess Esha’s been trying to recreate something similar.
At the music launch of Rocky – The Rebel, Esha Deol was flaunting a ‘Gayatri mantra’ tattoo painted on her back. The entire gayatri mantra was painted below the right shoulder while there was an ‘OM’ symbol on the other side. Esha had got it done at Funky Monkey, Bandra in April, just before her Rockstars tour. It took an hour to get it done.
This is definitely a new style statement that Esha has made here. Interesting way to show the world how religious you are but just hope it does not evoke a controversy with the moral police.
