"Rhythmic feel, designer sets, imaginative choreography, eye candy cinematography, able direction and screen presence of the actors make title song a definite chartbuster" Click here to add this article to My Clips

Colors. And some more colors.

That could well be the most apt way to describe the first look of 'Shakalaka Boom Boom' that is bound to make people sit up and take notice of this Suneel Darshan film.

Reasons are manifold. With due to respect to the film maker who has string of successful films under his belt, whether it is heartland of India or overseas, the way 'Shakalaka Boom Boom' comes across is indeed an experience that has not been associated with Suneel Darshan earlier.

Getting chic, hip and happening is the 'mantra' that Darshan seems to have applied this time around and if the 60 seconds of the title song 'Shakalaka Boom Boom' is any indication, the filmmaker has clearly moved on to explore newer horizons that are surely going to showcase his young-n-cool side!

So hop on and experience the joyride that Suneel Darshan, Himesh Reshammiya [coming in place of regular Nadeem-Shravan] and Sameer promise in one of the coolest songs to have arrived this year - Shakalaka Boom Boom!

Before moving on the obvious mention of the young starcast of the film, let's credit three men who have made this song an exciting experience - Choreographers Bosco & Caesar and Cinematographer Suri Rao. Three of them have come together to create such an eye candy experience that one is forced to move to the edge of the seat and witness a cinematic experience which could be one of it's kinds.

The dance moves are indeed cool which do not turn vigorous into 'beat one - beat two' mode but instead spell just one word - ATTITUDE!

A casual shake of neck, some smart coordination of hands with rest of the body, a look at the camera, a careless swirl of hair and costumes that could well make a fashion statement - now this is what makes 'Shakalaka Boom Boom' a song that may well be an indication of a 'cool' film to follow!

Sets used in the entire song are imaginative to the core. They belong to the kinds that have not been seen in films coming out from Bollywood. Shot throughout in indoors, the song boasts of loads and loads of colors with an edgy feel to each and every shot. Add to that the dynamic presence of the four lead protagonists - Bobby Deol, Celina Jaitley, Kangana and Upen Patel and you know that the song would be played for long.

So while Bobby can be seen in his Red & White suits, Upen is hanging around smartly in designer vests, jeans and some accessories. On the other hand while it is a given that Celina would look like a million bucks (as always) especially in a short top and torn jeans that is bound to take the breath away of many a men (and women!), what comes as a revelation of Kangana who for the first time shows a cool and a Bollywood-glam-doll side of hers. In a designer top and a short skirt, she looks stunning and lets her hair down for probably the first time ever after her heavy duty emotional performances in 'Gangster' and 'Woh Lamhe'.

While designer sets, imaginative choreography, eye candy cinematography, able direction and screen presence of the actors are the required ingredients for a hit number, the 'garam masala' is of course the music and rendition by Himesh Reshammiya who along with lyricist Sameer again belts out a number that is bound to be an upcoming chartbuster. Catchy, rhythmic and urban, 'Shakalaka Boom Boom' is a track that should be a highlight of the film.

Watch out for more as we soon bring to you an exclusive music review of the entire album of 'Shakalaka Boom Boom' that should be out on stands soon.
