He is what 'transition'is all about. He started his career with his affable role of 'Chintamani'on TV, a role that won him a million hearts and also paved his way for the future. He then jumped into the director’s seat and is in the news now, coz'of his latest release Aggar has hit the screen.

Jai: Ive had been a very big fan of yours since the time of Baazigar. I want to ask you that what the suspense of your forthcoming film is.
Anant Mahadevan: I don't want to reveal the suspense and spoil it for you

Jai: Sir, I would like to ask u something that I heard. Is it true that u had a rift with Sophie on the sets of Aggar?
Anant Mahadevan: It’s not true at all. She is such a a dear friend

Riya: Why does Nauheed have such a small role in the film? What can u say about her as an actor?
Anant Mahadevan: Nauheed is good actor n she plays an imp. part in the film

Sreeram: what made you move in to direction? Have you learnt direction from somewhere?
Anant Mahadevan: we learnt from all the great film makers by watching their films

Sandipdutt: Sir, have u quit serials, or r they still on the menu?
Anant Mahadevan: Serials are not on the menu right now, sandeep only when the TV gets as good as it was when it all started

Riya: Are you writing any new scripts? Which one was the last u wrote?
Anant Mahadevan: Riya, well still scripting but the cast of my next film Anamika is Dino Morea, Minisha Lamba and Koena Mitra

Sandipdutt: Sir, do u like cricket? if yes, whom are u supporting in twenty 20 world cup?
Anant Mahadevan: Sandeep, I love cricket. India, of course

Janvi: which is your favourite song from Aggar?
Anant Mahadevan: janvi, my fav. song is kyuin sehra si koi pyaas nahi

Riya: Would you remake any other films?
Anant Mahadevan: riya, as of now no remakes.

Anant Mahadevan: janvi, just because she had not done any film after Aksar. Thus she didn’t waste her time

Anant Mahadevan: well I had nothing to do with Indradhaunush sandeep it was Mr. Anand Mahendroo’s idea.

Anant Mahadevan: Australia is one of the most beautiful countries in the world n would like to shoot if the script demands

Wasiim : Hi, Do you really think it was wise releasing Aggar at this point of time where business is quite low due to cricket matches and entry of Ramadan?? Since this had had effect on such good films like Darling & Dhamaal...
Anant Mahadevan: Wasiim, sometimes we r left with no choice with cinemas and dated it was a difficult decision to take, considering the initial response to Aggar im sure people will take time to watch it

Anant Mahadevan: Janvi, my fav. scene is when Tushhar is being counseled by Sheyas and udita calls Sheyas ..It was quite an electric moment
