Rajeev Khandelwal, the chocolate boy from television is all set to make a 'solid' impression with his debut film Aamir. Directed by Rajkumar Gupta, the film is about a man who is ousted into circumstances without any notification and how he comes out of it a winner.

Breaking his stereotypical image, Khandelwal has not only taken efforts for his character but also his language. On the other hand, Rajkumar Gupta went one-step further and added more realism to the film. Apparently, Rajkumar was keen on shooting at some isolated and deserted place so that the location could go well with the theme and story of Aamir. After a tedious search, rejecting and approving places Rajkumar found it. He came across a chemical factory in Dharavi, which he thought had the perfect ambience and was ideal for a three-day schedule shoot they had planned on their roster.

But not everything goes as per plan, Rajkumar's thirst for deserted places proved not only expensive but also unhealthy for everyone in the crew. "We all thought that the chemical factory had the perfect ambience required for the scene. We were going to shoot next day but unfortunately, everyone including Rajeev and me got allergic to the impure air we breathed while shooting there. As a result of which, we all had to stop shooting for the next few days, but luckily, I had such brilliant actors and crew that we soon recovered the loss of those few days and were back on our planned schedule", declares Rajkumar.
