Imran Khan's first tryst with stardom

By now its common knowledge that Aamir Khan is launching his nephew Imran Khan in his home production Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na. Aamir Khan in his own meticulous style has been planning the marketing of the film. The first teasers / posters have been put up in all multiplexes across the city.
We always wondered how a new kid on the block felt when he would be launched. In fact we as journalists always ask this question to all newcomers. So we thought of sharing this interesting observation which one of our fellow colleagues had as he sauntered into a suburban multiplex to catch a flick.
While this friend of ours was buying his ticket, Imran Khan walked with his group of friends and they were keenly admiring the first poster of this boy. Now they were not the only ones admiring the poster. There were bunch of other girls who were looking at the poster and making all kinds of comments. They had no idea that Imran was standing right behind and could hear them talk. Now this lad could only look and keep blushing.
When one of the girls took notice of Imran Khan, they were quite embarrassed as they had been sharing some girly talks on him. But being bold, they had asked him if they could click pictures with him. Though Imran was quite embarrassed, he quietly obliged and left the multiplex without watching the film.
He was overheard saying to his friends, "Yaar, this is quite embarrassing, let's catch a film on DVD… that will be fun".
We agree that it's not easy to start getting noticed like this but at the same time it surely must've given the lad something to smile about. Wot say?
