'Gandhi My Father' holds back the tears and fears of a son who wants to be hugged by his father who's busy embracing the nation. The restrain is remarkable for going against the requirements of the story...

3 of 3 people found this review helpful GANDHI MY FATHER was always expected to be a historical outing. Hence it comes as a surprise to see people complaining about it being a lesson in history. Now if you are watching a film set from 1900 to 1948, what else do you expect? Especially when the story being told is about someone who has been THE most respected man ever...
