12 of 15 people found this review helpful SEL have saved the best for last where we have 'Ishaan's Theme', which is present only in the compact discs and not in the cassettes. As the title track suggests, it is an instrumental version, where the theme of the movie is highlighted through beautiful western classic orchestration. Soft piano notes form the backdrop and the subtle changes in beats and melody is pure class.

7 of 9 people found this review helpful TZP soundtrack unquestionably lives up to all expectations and how! It has the potential to appeal to a wider audience considering the maturity and variety of each track on offer here. But that’s the whole point of this album; it aims to send a message to everyone that is NOT a child so that they can further appreciate a child in a child’s world.

4 of 5 people found this review helpful Bheja Kam is sung by some ten singers-- Shankar Mahadevan, Bugs Bhargava, Shankar Sachdev, Raaj Gopal Iyer, Ravi Khanwilker, Loy Mendonsa, Amole Gupte, Kiran Rao, Aamir Khan and Ram Madhvani. It is less of a song and more of a spoof on the kind of scolding that children get on getting low marks...

4 of 5 people found this review helpful All the tracks have some 'different' quality to them, and the music and the lyrics don't drift from the theme of the film even once. This is what makes this album special.
Interestingly, there is no female singer throughout the album! All in all, this is one album that will definitely be remembered among the best composed film music albums in 2007.

3 of 4 people found this review helpful Aamir Khan gets into loud prankish, gibberish singing attire and sings his heart out with some quizzically jumbling one-liners for kid-listeners along with versatile Shaan in sprightly childish track "Bum Bum Bole". Shaan is at its best, though the nature of track clubs itself into situational feel song but still it's highly amusing in its wordings as well in its singing.

3 of 4 people found this review helpful Musically, Mera Jahaan (My World) is probably the best song on the album and has a fullness of sound and music that takes it to another plain. This song begins simply but then transforms into an intricate musical number. The track includes the children's choir Gleehive along with Adnan Sami, Auriel Cordo and Ananya Wadkar, with backup vocals provided by Suraj and Shailendra Barve.

3 of 11 people found this review helpful 'Idiot, duffer, lazy, crazy. Tumhara problem kya hai, beta?' Blistering questions directed at a hapless young thing make up for the hollering Bheja Kum. Oddly enough, all the rebuke and yelling is music to been-there-heard-that ears.

1 of 4 people found this review helpful 'Kholo Kholo' is nothing but a melodious treat for the ears. Poured out by Raman Mahadevan with all soul and spirit, this is the kind of track that will urge you to spread your wings and take a flight. This soft- rock is aptly aided by some nice haunting guitar strums that only add to accentuate the feel good factor of the song. Another enthusiastic delivery to tune on to!

1 of 14 people found this review helpful Jame Raho, sung by Vishal Dadlani doesn't really make an impact. It's slow and gets monotonous. And once the music loosens up, one hardly pays heed to the lyrics, however good they may be. Maa is one emotional song...

1 of 5 people found this review helpful Bum Bum Bole, crooned mainly by Shaan has Aamir Khan starting the proceedings with a ticklish set of funny words. The track appears to be a situational one where Aamir would be seen interacting and playing with the school kids. All in all, Bum Bum Bole will work well with its video.

2 of 5 people found this review helpful The already popular title track gives us a glimpse of what the film actually is. Sung by Shankar Mahadevan, the song makes quite an impact in first listen itself....
