Pali Films’ Garam starts as a love story between a rich girl, Bobby (Sapna), and a poor boy, Rocky (Tanveer). Bobby ‘s father is disturbed by her choice and intervenes to get her married to Rahul Mehta (Imran). However, Bobby Keeps fantasising about Rocky and, in any case, Rahul turns out to be impotent (but under treatment). Bobby rushes for shelter and support to Rocky who reveals his ugly, manipulative side and begins to blackmail her.

Having deserted Rahul, Bobby is left with little option but to become the mistress of the respectably married Mr. Bajaj (Shakti Kapoor). But bad luck continues to shadow her and one fine day, Mr. Bajaj gets killed by his own brother.
