KISNA, an epic tale for the twenty-first century, takes us back to the 1940s and the breathtaking landscapes of a Himalayan region in which the rulers and the ruled have become sworn enemies. KISNA immortalizes a divine love story that survives the turmoil and tyranny of a nation in the making and truly proves that nothing lives forever... except love. KISNA stars Vivek Oberoi, British actress Antonio Bernath and Isha Shravani, a renowned dancer from Kerala in the lead roles along with British actors Michael Maloney, Caroline Langrishe and veteran actress Polly Adams. The cast is supported with a talented team of Indian actors including Hrishita Bhatt, Amrish Puri, Om Puri and Rajat Kapur. KISNA is an epic duel between 'Karma' and 'Dharma'. This musical love story with an adventurous backdrop of 1940s in India has two veteran music composers A. R. Rahman and Ismail Darbar with lyrics by Javed Akhtar - rare music expected to surpass all Subhash Ghai films. Shot on a large scale with sync sound under the Director of Audiography - Dilip Subramaniam at Ranikhet in India, KISNA is being photographed by National Award winner and renowned Cinematographer Ashok Mehta with another National Award winner Samir Chanda as Production Designer and Art Director.
