  Trivia
The unit of the movie Fashion was shooting for a fashion show with models at Mehboob Studios when a model named Rebecca fainted on the ramp. Priyanka, who was near by, immediately rushed to her aid. When the model gained consciousness, Priyanka told Rebecca to make herself comfortable in her vanity van and also gave her some nimbu-paani.

Madhur and UTV decided not to allow anybody to use their cell phones on the sets of Fashion. Although the 14 models play themselves in Fashion, and regularly walk the ramp for various designers in real life too, they were apprehensive while shooting the scene as they feared that unit members would click their pictures on cell phones when they were changing clothes in the makeshift green room. They couldn't go to change in the vanity van as it would have taken up a lot of time. Hence to avoid any embarrassment, the usage of cell phones was banned.

When Madhur Bhandarkar shot one of the most controversial scenes for Fashion on 30th January 2008, he cleared the sets at Mehboob Studios, Bandra. Only Bhandarkar, his cinematographer and a couple of essential people were present at the shoot. Kangana sportingly did not use a body double. The scene was based on the infamous Carol Gracias wardrobe malfunction episode which happened at the Lakme Fashion Week, 2006.

Models working in the film Fashion were very unhappy with the food served on the sets. After long working hours, they are served oily food and there was no fixed time for lunch or breakfast. All this was very new to the models, who eat sandwiches, soups and salads for their meals and follow a certain routine. Model Kavita Khayrayat who plays one of the models in Fashion confirmed, "The food served on sets does not fit into our diet. We need to have nutritious, healthy food. Extra oily food tends to give us pimples. On our request, they did serve us with curd and idlis but that was only done for one day."

Priyanka Chopra forced director Madhur Bhandarkar to change Fashion's climax. The original end of the film had Priyanka becoming pregnant. The script had the actress playing a girl who has many men in her life and is unperturbed about her pregnancy even though she is unmarried. On the contrary, she decides to flaunt her pregnancy. However, Priyanka found that idea too bold and told Madhur that it might go against her image. The new ending will not find Priyanka becoming pregnant. The end has been mellowed down to suit the actress' sensibilities.
