| Zayed Khan replaced Bobby Deol in Mission Istanbul. The movie was supposed to go on the floors on 1st August 2007 but because of Ramzan and Eid the date got pushed up with the result that Bobby Deol could no longer do the project. Unfortunately the movie required 60 days in Turkey at a stretch. Zayed Khan stepped in as a replacement. |

| Anu Malik has roped in Turkish pop icon Petek Dincoz to render a fusion song in Apoorva Lakhia's Mission Istanbul. The words used in the song will be a mixture of Hindi and Turkish language. |

| Tusshar Kapoor was the initial choice for the main antagonist's part in Mission Istanbul. But the dates clashed with Ekta's film D Company which takes a light look at gangsterism, hence he opted out.
