oh gosh, one can really not blame kareena for walking out of this movie! this movie really has no script at all, whatsoever! the entire first half revolves around the century-old formula of boy chasing girl. i mean come on, in today's world, what kind of a decent guy would chase a girl whose a complete stranger? and even if it did happen, why would the decent/shareef girl say yes and start giggling about it? and some parts of the movie are just so dumb! like the bake race in the first half? harman bawega, whose never ridden a bike before, decides he just HAS to win the bike race because priyanka asked him too. guess what people? although the race course is made for professional bikers only, harman bawega still wins! not only that, he climbs on a roller coaster to ask out the girl he liked. if the makers did want to copy that scene from the hollywood movie "the notebook", then couldnt they realize that 1) that scene in "the notebook" was taken place about 50 years ago! and 2) in today's world, where there is security at all theme parks, how could harman get away with climbing onto the roller coaster without getting stopped? and even if you dont view this from a critical point of view, you would just realize that all of this is just not entertaining! half the cinema hall was yawning throughout the movie and the other half of the cinema hall was completely empty! oh and one more thing, i dont have a time machine to go into the future and look, but i can say that mumbai in 40 years will not have flying cars, robots, or anything of the sort! so nice try harry bawega, but you just lost yourself a great deal of money!
What I liked about the movie:
some parts were so stupid that i actually laughed. oh and priyanka's mom (archana) was very good!
What I didn't like about the movie:
everything! especially the length. and the fact that the 1st half had no script, and the 2nd half was just dumb. and priyanka looked ugly throughout. red hair?
