I don't know to which extent JA follows the history. But,one thing is abstract that it's a fabulous movie.the film starts with the depiction of the India's political map and situation in which Akbar got the crown. Then ,how he meets Jodha through the marrital alliance .Now ,as expected from the name of the movie ,movie concentrates on the couple's relationship to the core. After the entrance of JODHA the movie really starts to flow.
For the aesthetic portrayal of the story in an an elegant way, it was a sheer need to embellish the characters with the mesmerizing costumes and jewelery.the moments of love and triumph needed a soulful and loud music in congruence with time .therefore .one can't blame the movie for its desi music instruments ,pompous jewelery and glossy costumes.
After watching the movie ,you can conclude the movie as a love-story in a political backdrop with stellar performances, lingering music and tout script. You cant forget to mention ASH's ethereal beauty and her chemistry with Hrithik,
What I liked about the movie:
believable and yet extraordinary action,aishwarya........looking like never before, flow in the story
What I didn't like about the movie:
length
