The film was a joy to watch. Full of heart, it sheds light upon both the best and the worst parts of the film industry.
Wonderful acting and chemistry between all the actors and possibly the best soundtrack in the last decade to come out of Bollywood!
This one's a shoe-in for Best Picture this year!
What I liked about the movie:
The songs were all amazing!!! First movie where one can sing all the songs from memory - the songs will be remembered for years to come!
The choreography is superb - Dhoom Tana & Deewanagi are the best - but I wish there could have been more complex steps for Dard-E-Disco. Should win the Best Music Director Award, and Best Lyricist for Ajab Si or Main Agar Kahoon.
The acting was also of the highest standard - Deepika is winning best newcomer for sure, and Kirron Kher and Arjun Rampal deserve the awards for Best Supporting Actress and and Best Actor or Actress in a Villainous Role. Shah Rukh should be nominated for Best Actor for OSO, but should win it for Chak De India.
Oh, and not to forget, the technical aspect of the film was also superb! Shirish Kunder should be guaranteed the Best Editor award and the other technicians should also win many awards.
What I didn't like about the movie:
Kirron Kher saying "picture abhi baki hain" becuz it was the third time it was said and it didn't have as much effect as the first two times.
