Mukesh Khanna who stuck to fame with his commanding portrayal of Bhishma Pitamaha in B.R. Chopra’s popular TV series Mahabharat is now to play another mythological character. But this time he is just lending his voice. That’s because the movie in question is an animated movie. In fact India’s first full length animated movie, Hanuman.
Khanna has lent his voice for Sahara One Motion Pictures animation venture 'Hanuman'. This film is directed by animation guru V.G Samant and is set to hit the theaters nationwide on October 21st 2005. "There were no second thoughts for this offer. I am a great devotee of lord hanuman and I am very honored to get this opportunity," says Mukesh Khanna who earlier captivated the televisions with his Shaktiman and became an idol for children.
"Hanuman" is produced by Percept Picture Company in association with Silvertoons. The film is about the extraordinary journey of this mythical superhero - from his days as an adorable, miracle-working baby, to his ultimate triumph in the army of Lord Shri Ram.
