The Sen sister act

The very appealing sister duo of Raima and Riya Sen will be seen onscreen, together for the first time, in an English film. The film in question is aptly titled The Bong Connection. However, it is only the working title. Directed by Anjan Dutt, the film also stars Victor Banerjee, Shyan Munshi and newcomer Param Datta. It is based on the lives of Bengalis living in India, as well as abroad. Raima will be playing the traditional Bengali girl in Kolkata whereas Riya’s character is that of a confused girl. It is a comical character.
The director, Anjan Dut, has earlier directed the Shabana Azmi starrer, Bada Din. The Bong Connection will be shot in Calcutta and Houston.
