Priyadarshan’s next titled Khatta Meetha

Director Priyadarshan has put back the failure of his Kyon Ki and success of Garam Masala, behind now. The director is currently busy with UTV’s production that stars love-birds Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapur together for the second time after Fida. The film is now titled as Khatta Meetha. Like every Priyadarshan film, this one also is remake of a Malayalam film titled ‘Punjabi House’.
Shahid commits suicide in the beginning of the movie and is presumed dead by the entire village. He is engaged to Isha Sharvani but subsequently falls in love with a deaf and mute girl played by Kareena Kapoor.
That’s not all on Priyadarshan’s list. He is also adding finishing touches to another comedy caper titled ‘Malamaal Weekly’ starring Riteish Deshmukh, Om Puri and Paresh Rawal.
