No fallout with Akki

Suneel Darshan is upset with a section of the media for trying to create a rift between Akshay Kumar and him. A recent news-report stated that Suneel had decided to launch supermodel Upen Patel to fill the void left after Akki and Suneel decided to part ways professionally.
Akshay, who has featured in a string of films produced and directed by Suneel, has been maintaining a ‘no comments’ stance, but Suneel was more forthcoming. “New talent ought to be promoted, but what’s untrue is that I have signed Upen Patel to spite Akki. I haven’t signed Upen at all, nor are Akki and I bitter with one another,” Suneel tells me.
Suneel continues in the same breath, “Upen is a good looking guy who has the potential to be a big star. As a film-maker, it’s important to promote new talent, but the fact remains that I haven’t signed anyone yet for my new film. Why, I haven’t even decided what to make after DOSTI – FRIENDS FOREVER.”
