- Yash and Aditya Chopra have already made/are making films with Kunal Kohli, Sanjay Gadhvi, Shaad Ali, Siddharth Anand.
- Karan Johar made films with Nikhil Advani, Soham.
- RGV holds the record for introducing a number of new talents.
- Subhash Ghai has hired the services of Abbas-Mustan, Nagesh Kukunoor, [earlier] Mukul Anand, David Dhawan, Anant Balani.
- Sohail Khan is working with David Dhawan, Vicky Chopra, [earlier] Puneet Sira.
- Vidhu Vinod Chopra is making films with Rajkumar Hirani, Pradeep Sarkar.

Jha, who has just wrapped up the shooting of APAHARAN [Nana, Ajay, Bipasha], is starting a string of projects, all with outside directors. "I intend starting at least three films before the year comes to a close," the film-maker informs me. The first to roll will be directed by actor Nana Patekar. "He has readied the script. I should be hearing the narration one of these days. The casting will be decided thereafter," he adds.
Jha will be overseeing the projects in the capacity of the producer. Meanwhile, Jha's own project will roll next year.
