Mala Sinha in Nepal's honour list

After, it is Mala Sinha who will be honored by the Nepal Government at the first National Film Festival that begins today. While Dev Anand will be conferred with the National Award for excellence in films, Sinha will receive Critics award for her film 'Maitighar' a superhit, released in 1966.
Mala Sinha, a Nepalese Christian was in those days the first lady of Nepalese film industry but she chose to shift to Mumbai and make a base in Bollywood. On the occasion the hit film 'Maitighar' will also be re-released after nearly four decades.
