‘Aap Ki Khatir’

Besides Yash Raj, Karan Johar, Rakesh Roshan, J.P. Dutta, Sooraj R. Barjatya, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Nikhil Advani, Subhash Ghai, Abbas-Mustan, Rajkumar Hirani and David Dhawan, there’s one more important name that will have a release this year: Dharmesh Darshan.
Shooting his just-launched film at a feverish pace in U.K., Dharmesh is readying the project for release in the latter half of 2006. In the past, most of his films have taken time to reach the theatres -- some times due to date problems, at times because he was pre-occupied with another film. But Dharmesh is likely to create a record of sorts by completing this new project within months of its launch.
Also, Dharmesh is working with an entirely new set of actors this time. Most of his films have starred Akshay Kumar and Karisma/Kareena Kapoor, but in his new project, titled AAP KI KHATIR, the cast includes Akshaye Khanna, Priyanka Chopra, Amisha Patel, Dino Morea and Suniel Shetty. The Jains of Venus are producing the film -- their third with Dharmesh, after MELA and DHADKAN.
