Naseeruddin Shah’s narrow escape

Naseuddin Shah recently met with a car accident that could have proved to be fatal. Fortunately, the actor as well as the driver, escaped unhurt. The incident took place during the last schedule of Vishal Bharadwaj’s Omkara. After wrapping up the shooting schedule at Wai, the actor was on his way back to the hotel in Panchgani, in a Scorpio. All of a sudden, one of the tyre’s burst, causing the car to tilt. Add to that, they were on the steep ghats at that time.
The tyre burst was so bad that there was only metal left in the tyre. It seems that Naseer was furious with the production team, since they had provided the car. However, the tyre burst is being attributed to the immense heat and pressure. The car had just come from Mumbai. There was a possibility of it falling into the deep gorges of the Wai ghats. But by the grace of God, Naseeruddin Shah as well as the driver escaped without injuries.
