Rituparno’s Rahgeer jumps from PNC to UTV

Akshay Kumar starrer Rahgeer is in midst of a controversy. The film which was to be produced by PNC is now being produced by UTV. The controversial part is that Pritish Nandy of PNC is still not aware of the fact. The film to be directed by Rituparno Ghosh was earlier in trouble due to the date problems of the lead cast and now due to the change of the production house.
According to Pritish Nandy, the film is very much with them as they have an exclusive contract with both Akshay Kumar and Rituparno Ghosh. UTV on the other hand has a different story to tell. They say that this project comprising of Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai is very interesting and they are now working on final details before finalizing the project.
So finally who’s producing the film? Will any of the production houses please confirm?
