Zayed on home-production ‘Legend Of Ram’

While Ajay is still undecided about his production plans, Zayed Khan says his father is ready to start a series of films as producer. Veteran actor – film-maker Sanjay Khan, who has directed a couple of films in the past, is ready to start LEGEND OF RAM under the banner of Kingdom Films. But, the surprise aspect is, none of the projects will be directed by the veteran.
“That’s because dad has decided to oversee the projects and also be the script doctor. We’ve decided to work with new talents in our production company. As of now, no one in particular is finalized… not the director, not the actors,” Zayed explains. Will Zayed be portraying a part in LEGEND OF RAM? “It’s too early to talk about it. The roles may go to newcomers. It’s an ambitious project and will demand a lot from the actors,” he states.
In the meanwhile, Zayed is looking forward to his new release ROCKY, which opens this Friday. “Dad loved the film and so did mom. Normally, they are very critical of my work. But the fact that they loved my work and also the film makes me breathe easy,” he smiles.
