Jiya Dhadak Dhadak’ from Kalyug by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, ‘Dhoom’ by Tata Young in the film Dhoom, ‘James’ for the song ‘Bheegi Bheegi’ in Gangster are all examples of the growth of cross cultural music trend in India. With more and more artists from outside India performing for Bollywood, the audiences are not complaining. The popularity of these songs is sky roaring.

Well there is more good news for all you fans of this type of music. In Vipul Shah’s next, Namaste London, there will be an introduction of yet another cross cultural band, RDB which stands for Rhythm Dhol Bass. They will be performing to the tunes of Himesh Reshammiya who is the music director of the film. One major reason why RDB are going to perform for the film is because their music has become a bestseller worldwide. They have a strong favoring from the UK and USA residing NRI’S and Asians. Namaste London stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif and is slated to release in 2007.

Previously Jay Sean and Rishi Rich have performed for Hum Tum and Kya Kool Hai Hum and were quite a rage as well.
