Another comedy?

Have producer Ratan Jain and director Sangeeth Sivan shook hands? Soon after the release of APNA SAPNA MONEY MONEY, Sivan’s second success in a row, the director was seen locked in a serious conversation with Ratan Jain of Venus at a suburban hotel in Juhu. Is Jain planning a film with Sivan?
“We are still in the preliminary discussions,” Sivan tells me, “As of now, there’s not much clarity on the front. I did narrate an idea to Ratan-ji, which he liked immensely. We’ve decided to take it further, but it’s not concrete yet. Wait for a couple of days more.” Like Priyadarshan, who seems to have made an impression with comedies, Sivan too seems to have hit gold with comic fares.
