Karan Johar only dubs for SEI, doesn't shoot

Nikhil Advani’s much awaited film Salaam-E-Ishq is all set to release soon. The promos of the film look fantastic and it seems like a lot of sweat and blood was put in to make the film possible.
Well it sure wasn’t an easy job for director Nikhil Advani to manage such a massive cast with coordination of the dates of one and all. And while he did handle the stars smoothly he lost on his mentor and former colleague Karan Johar who had agreed to do a special appearance in the film. Karan Johar was to play himself in the film where the director introduces himself to Priyanka Chopra who plays a Karan Johar fan. But alas the dates couldn’t be worked out and Nikhil had to do with Karan just dubbing a line for him. Alas, something is better than nothing.
The film which was shot in131 days has been some experience for the young director, because shooting six stories was as good as shooting six different films.
