Vishal to direct a short film on HIV aids

Vishal Bhardwaj is all set to direct his next film which will be a short 13 minute film on HIV-AIDS. The film is one from the sequence of short films made on HIV AIDS on behalf of the Bill Gates foundation.
Vishal has managed to rope in Hollywood’s top cinematographer Guillermo Navarro to shoot his film on HIV-AIDS which is titled Blood Brothers. The film stars Ayesha Takia and Siddharth of Rang De Basanti fame. Ayesha is quite excited about the film and feels that Vishal is one director who can bring out the best from an actor. She also feels that Dor which has opened a lot of doors for the talented actress was one of the reasons as to why Vishal choose her for the film.
According to Vishal, the film will not be preachy but sheer entertainment so that the message doesn’t come about in a boring way. Mira Nair too recently, shot a short film on AIDS in Mumbai. The other directors who will also be shooting short films on this issue are Farhan Akhtar and Santosh Sivan.
