Planning a musical next

The promos of SWAMI, slated for release on 1st June, have attracted the attention of the industry bigwigs as well as the common man. At a time when most producers like to kick-start their promotion with the mandatory song-and-dance routine, choreographer turned film-maker Ganesh Acharya began the promotion of SWAMI in the most non-conventional way.
Well, that seems to have worked. For, the film stands out in the melee of biggies that are slated for release in the coming weeks. Also, Manmohan Shetty of Adlabs was so impressed with the film that he has picked up the distribution rights of this Manoj Bajpai – Juhi Chawla starrer for two territories -- Mumbai and Delhi-U.P.
Meanwhile, Ganesh is already planning his second venture. “It’s a musical, with loads of songs. I haven’t finalized the casting yet. It all depends on how SWAMI fares,” he states modestly.
