What next, David?

So, what’s David Dhawan making next, after PARTNER?
News 1: He’s keen on making PARTNER 2, titled TOM & JERRY.
News 2: He’s directing four newcomers and a chimpanzee in CARRY ON PAPPU.
News 3: His elder son Rohit is making his directorial debut with a film produced by Eros and David jointly. David is overseeing the project right now.
What’s the truth?
“There’s so much happening after PARTNER,” David tells me, “Sure, I will make TOM & JERRY, but it’s still in the infancy stages right now. As for CARRY ON PAPPU, why should I start a film with newcomers after PARTNER? I am not averse to the idea of casting newcomers, but the truth is that I am not making any film with new faces currently. Nor is it titled CARRY ON PAPPU. As regards the third news [son Rohit Dhawan making his directorial debut], yes, he’s planning to start his film, but we’ll make an announcement at an opportune time.”
With PARTNER emerging the biggest hit of 2007, David, obviously, has his hands full. “I am keeping quiet for the time being. Let me enjoy the success. I have a lot to do, but let the time be right to take the right steps,” he concludes.
