South Indian film-maker D Rama Naidu added yet another achievement to his already illustrious career as he entered the 2008 Guinness Book of World Records for having produced films in nine languages.

The producer-director has made quite a few popular films under his banner ‘Suresh Productions’ in languages like Tamil , Malayalam , Kannada , Hindi , English , Bengali , Oriya , Assamese and of course his mother-tongue Telugu.

He doesn’t quite believe in dubbing films even though he isn’t well-versed with all the languages he makes movies in.

In fact the veteran film-maker is also entering the Marathi film industry with a new production titled Majhi Aai to be directed by Kanchan Nayak.

D Rama Naidu churned out several Bollywood potboilers in the nineties like Rakhwala, Prem Qaidi, Jeevan Ek Sangharsh and Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain.

He even launched his son, Telugu superstar Venkatesh in Anari opposite Karisma Kapoor. D Rama Naidu’s last Hindi film was the 2001 drama Kuch Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kahein starring Fardeen Khan and newcomer Richa Pallod.
