Apoorva Lakhia signed by Sohail Maklai and Vashu Bhagnani Click here to add this article to My Clips

Apoorva Lakhia is on a high! The promos of his new film MISSION ISTAANBUL have just been launched and people are already talking about it. If the first look is an indicator of things to follow, expect a lot more when it hits the screens… and of course, a thunderous initial when it hits the screens on July 11. “I haven't made a film like MISSION ISTAANBUL before. It's my most ambitious film to date,” Apoorva tells me.

While the post-production work of MISSION ISTAANBUL has already begun, Apu has already started work on his new project, to be produced by Sohail Maklai. “It's a 5-hero film. Right now, we're working on the script. I can't announce the cast till we have the confirmations,” he divulges.

Wait! Apu has bagged yet another plum assignment. Prolific film-maker Vashu Bhagnani has signed the Apu - Abhishekh Bachchan combination for his next film, which will roll sometime next year. “It's a 2-hero project. Besides Abhishek, we need to finalize one more hero,” he adds. The film, not titled yet, is an action-comedy.
