Trial Shoot: Vipul Shah wants to get comfortable with Salman - Ajay

Vipul Shah is about to cast a completely new face opposite Salman and Ajay in London Dreams. "We've zeroed in on two girls both of whom are almost completely new. One is completely new and the other has done one film. We'll decide on one of them. I'd have finalized the girl last week. But I got stuck in the controversies regarding the Sikh community."
Earlier when Raj Kumar Santoshi was to direct London Dreams, Priyanka Chopra had been almost finalized as the leading lady. It's an open secret that Vipul Shah has worked with one particular leading man in all his films so from Aankhen, Waqt and Namastey London. But now he's all set to direct Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan for the first time in London Dreams. And Vipul has decided on a 'trial direction' in the first week of July.
"Just a couple of shooting days with Salman and Ajay so I can establish a comfort zone with them for whenever we begin our principal shooting. I wouldn't want to go on the sets for a major schedule and then get to know my principal actors."
About Singh Is Kinng, Vipul says, "Generally when two directors come together as producer-director, like Subhash Ghai and Mukul Anand did for Trimurti or Aditya Chopra and Pradeep Sarkar in Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, the film doesn't work. I want to prove that wrong in Singh Is Kinng. I can proudly say I wasn't a selfish producer. I let Anees Bazmee do what he wanted. I stayed in the background completely."
