Avantika will be seen in the song 'Auntyji', when Imran mouths the lyrics 'Smile abhi bhi hai million dollars Auntyji...'

However, Avantika will not be the only face close to the actor who will be featured in the film. In fact four other friends of his including writers Ayesha Devitre and Akshat Verma too will be seen making a cameo in EMAET.

The Shakun Batra directed film Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu starring Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor is one of the highly anticipated films that releases tomorrow. With Imran and Kareena sharing quite a good chemistry on screen, which is clearly visible in the trailers, Bollywood Hungama caught up with Imran for a special naughty feature.

If we recollect, in the film Kareena asks Imran to rate her butt. However, we decided to give Imran a pop quiz to gauge his Bollywood knowledge as far as 'Ass'ets of our leading ladies are concerned.

However, not leaving our viewers out, we decided to give you a sneak peek at what to expect from the video, so follow this daily thread for the final video with Imran. Meanwhile if you think you know who the celeb in the image is (just by looking at their butt) you can post in your answers below.

Bollywood Hungama News Network

Thu, 9 Feb 2012 12:18:04

KLPD team meets Delhi CM Shiela Dixit

http://www.bollywoodhungama.com/movies/features/type/view/id/3067

Amit Chandrra's Kismat Luv Paisa Dilli (KLPD) is currently being shot in Delhi. The crew landed in the capital on Sunday and has started shooting extensively across various parts of the city. KLPD, co-produced by Krishan Chaudhery, shows all aspects of Delhi from the food to the clothes, from the people to the picturesque locations and monuments in the city. It also promotes Delhi culture.

Therefore, when the Chief Minister of Delhi, Mrs Sheila Dixit met Amit Chandrra, the producer and Vivek Oberoi for morning tea at her residence on Tuesday morning, they all had much to discuss and talk about. Mrs. Dixit had heard a lot of positive things about the film and wanted to extend her complete support to the team and encourage them. She was glad to know that Amit is a Delhi boy and had moved onto becoming a successful filmmaker in Mumbai after finishing his studies in Delhi.

Since Delhi is a character in itself in KLPD, Mrs.Dixit was happy to hear more about the film from Amit and Vivek and told them that she would like for her team to extend full co-operation to make the process of shoot in Delhi very smooth. On contacting, Amit Chandrra said, "It was an absolute honour to meet Mrs. Sheila Dixit and we would like to thank her for hosting us so graciously. Her support is only going to help make this film better. Delhi is a beautiful city and I am glad that our script permits us to be here and show this lovely city and its culture on celluloid."

Bollywood Hungama News Network

Thu, 9 Feb 2012 11:30:00

Dia Mirza becomes hot Neta for FHM

http://www.bollywoodhungama.com/movies/features/type/view/id/3066

Dressed in a Nehru jacket and blue shorts with a Gandhi topi, Dia looks alluring as a sexy Neta on the cover of FHM India.

Speaking on the topic of corruption, she says, "The thing is when you deal with the system in which everything from renewing a passport to voting cards is imbibed with corruption, when parents tell their kids to do well in their studies and they'd buy them a bike-we need to do something other than tweet about it. Newly weds Riteish and Genelia made their first appearance as Mr. and Mrs. Deshmukh for a Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) match in Vizag on Saturday February 5, 2012. A glowing Genelia waved to her fans on the ground as she arrived hand in hand with her husband.

Riteish, who is the Vice Captain of the CCL team Mumbai Heroes, was there to play a match against the Bengal Tigers. Bipasha may have been exhilarated about the fact that the makers of her upcoming film Jodi Breakers decided to create an item number exclusively for her. Well, her happiness around 'exclusivity' may just be short lived as she would now have competition from someone who has made a career out of being an 'item queen'. The name is Helen and she would now be seen performing to a specially designed musical piece for the film.

"This was pretty much an impromptu decision taken by director Ashwini Chaudhary", informs our source, "Though in the film Helenji is playing a dance teacher for senior citizens, there was no song-n-dance routine that was planned for her. Yes, she may have jived to a step or two and showed some moves but that's about it; there was never going to be a full blow track. However, later Ashwini felt that to add further meat to her character and also provide today's audience who haven't seen her past work something to admire, a situation had to created."

Soon the composers were asked to come up with a special musical track that was worthy enough to go with Helen's image and also had the kind of beats that allowed the dancing lady to showcase her gracious moves.

"The easy way out could have been to pick up dozens of her yesteryear chartbuster hits and make an extended piece out of that. However a joint call was taken to create something exclusive", the source continues, "So a brand new musical piece has been created which would now also act as Helenji's introduction. Though there are no lyrics in it, the tune has a very RD Burman-ish feel to it. It is going to be the highlight of the film."

While one wonders how is Bipasha feeling about the competition that has just crept in, those close to the actress state that she is more flattered than challenged to find company of the biggest item queen that Bollywood has ever seen. Says Ashwini, "With both Helenji and Bipasha in my film, I couldn't resist the temptation of seeing them in a song apiece. While 'Bipasha' had already been written for my leading lady, the other musical piece is my homage to Helenji."

One wonders if the song would have boasted of words, would it have been called 'Helen'!

He is now inundated with super-tempting offers for singing. And though reluctant to sing, Dhanush has just come up with his second potential chartbuster which goes on air next week.

The song, a homage to cricketer Sachin Tendulkar goes, 'One plus one-u two-u two-u, if not Sachin who-u who-u…"

Dhanush, a major Tendulkar fan, wrote the song as a campaign for an energy drink. Now we hear Dhanush will be singing in Hindi cinema too. Director Aanand Rai who has signed Dhanush to play the lead in Raanjhanaa has asked Dhanush to sing at least one song in the film. Though initially Dhanush begged off, sources close to the project say Dhanush has agreed to sing a folk song of Uttar Pradesh for his Varanasi character.

But Dhanush still calls himself a reluctant singer. Says Dhanush, "I really don't think I will be singing much. I'm an actor by profession, singer by default. Boost, the energy drink, approached me to do a song for Sachin Tendulkar, which I happily did. I've treated the song as an introduction to a mass hero. It has easily accessible lyrics like 'Kolaveri Di'."

On meeting Shrishti Arya, this is what you'll notice - She is fast, actually too fast. She is busy with someone else in her cabin, but won't make you wait in the reception area. She'll not take more than ten minutes to call you inside her cabin. Then she'll order some black coffee for you but before the coffee arrives, she'll have some time to burn that nicotine. Then she talks about the recent movies with you and a bit of trade and gossip. Then a quick sip of her coffee and this, "Let's not waste time. What are we talking?" You love her right away. I love Shrishti Arya. That's what Producers should be doing. Not wasting time and no bullsh****g. Then she adds, "You know what the most important task of a producer is? It's to budget the movie properly and give the entire creative freedom to their director". Movies and Money talks done. Now for some humour. Here's what she has to say when I asked her about her brother and producer Goldie Behl, "I always say that in-between Goldie and I is a perfect human being. Goldie is everything I am not but we share one thing in common and that is our passion for movies". Yes, you'd be shocked but a producer who is humorous is the best one to do business with. Why? Because you'll surely be laughing on your way to the bank. Meet the rose of Rose Movies, Shrishti Arya, in this Rose Day special on London Paris New York.

"Ali has kept the music simple and melodious and yet so diverse that even a child can sing it"
There is individuality in Ali's music. Every music composer or a singer or a lyricist has their own uniqueness. Ali's creation has a strong melody and simplicity which really works for our movies. There are modern kinds of arrangements we've used. Even a child can sing if he hears any of the tracks. Ali has kept it so simple and yet so diverse. That's what music for London Paris New York will do to you if you once you listen. You'll remember it for a long time. I couldn't have asked for better. I'm absolutely thrilled to have Ali Zafar on board for London Paris New York. I believe that we share a great camaraderie and that's what works in making a good movie.

"No movie works because of an item song"
'Chikni Chameli' fell into the grain of Agneepath. Our movie doesn't lend itself to an item song. No movie works because of an item song but yes, I truly believe it's the positioning of the song that boosts its chances of success. London Paris New York doesn't have the slightest of space for an item song.

"When somebody trusts you so blindly, you have no choice but to go all out and look after them"
I love Aditi Rao Hydari and Ali Zafar. They are lovely kids. Now that makes me sound like a mother, isn't it? (Laughs). When somebody trusts you so blindly, you have no choice but to go all out and look after them. They weren't asking for anything so I thought to pamper them with some kind of surprises. They are too sweet. It's the chemistry again as I've said earlier that works for me. You can't pretend to look after someone or trust someone. There is a genuine trust involved with my actors.

"Our aim isn't to ghost direct but give the creative freedom to my director. Anu Menon has seen through her vision today"
As a producer, I need to know what the director has in mind and make sure the director sees through their own vision. Every director has an idea and a vision but an interaction with a producer helps always to expand their idea and make it better. Anu Menon and I have sat through this and today we are proud that we've given birth to London Paris New York that the world will see in a few days. I don't think any movie is made wrong. It's the process that goes wrong and we are here to look after just that. It all boils down to the selection of the subject material, the selection of the manner in which the story is told and the people and aesthetics that works out together. My aim isn't to ghost direct but give the creative freedom to my director.

"London Paris New York isn't about redefining genres. It's a story well told"
Honestly, we aren't here to prove a point. We are here to tell stories that we believe in and not make it so creatively different that people are put off by it. It's not about redefining genres and it's not about showing people what different we can do. It's a story that Anu Menon and I wanted to tell. Then others came on board and creatively got involved in the story and the movie as a whole. We never started out to make a 'never before seen' genre.

"I've always said that in between Goldie and I, are perfect human beings. He is everything I am not"
How influenced is my brother and producer Goldie Behl with me? (Laughs). I think it should've been the other way around. Goldie and I are very different people. I always say that in-between Goldie and I am a perfect human being. He has a great sense of story and a fantastic sense of music. He is everything I am not. The only thing in common is that we are extremely passionate in what we do and our passion for movies.

"London Paris New York made us laugh and yet surprised us with what was coming next"
London Paris New York really connected so well when Anu Menon narrated us her take on the movie. It surprised us as the way the story unfolded, it also made us laugh. We never knew what the next scene was going to be. That's why we were excited to work on Anu's idea. Love stories are done to death. But Anu told us that in every love story there is a crisis and in every crisis there is a resolution. But what the crisis was new and how it resolves was new. It was something that surprised and challenged me to make this movie.

<img src="http://images.bollywoodhungama.com/img/feature/12/feb/arya3.jpg" align="right"alt="">

"London Paris New York is Aditi's best work you'll see to date"
Aditi is a darling, though this will be her fully fledged role in a commercial movie where she plays a solo lead. But honestly, she is a very giving actor. An individual with lot of respect for her work and talent unbound. Aditi is gorgeous and she has been very fortunate in whatever critical acclaim she has received for whatever different small parts she has done in movies. She has a great voice and she has sung a song in London Paris New York too.

"London Paris New York isn't a larger than life; it is a slice of life"
Ali is fantastic. He is an incredibly talented actor and has a hundred percent track record in movies (laughs). There is Ali and Aditi and both bring the freshness so you can believe the characters they portray. London Paris New York isn't a larger than life; it is a slice of life. There is a certain amount of dignity that they bring. Both have been really lucky for us. Back then, even Jawaani Deewani cast was lucky for us because both Randhir ji and Jaya ji were relatively a fresh cast for a movie of that genre.

Great, so now Hrithik Roshan too has made an entry into the elite '100 crore' club. With Agneepath crossing the milestone and still raking in moolah, Hrithik may well be relieved that he has got the '100 crore' worth monkey off his back and that too at a much younger age. With only the top three Khans and Ajay Devgn managing this feat before Hrithik, the club may have seemed rather exclusive to begin with. Well, not anymore, what with Hrithik stepping in as well. Rest assured, year to come will have quite a few players entering the game and that too without much fuss. Let's explore in this week's 'Reflections'.

Stage is set for veteran actors to fire

Amongst those who have been around for a couple of decades and still doing lead roles (with quite some aplomb), the ones who are all set to take a shot at the Rs. 100 crore mark are Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan. Both have enjoyed biggies in the past and it is a matter of time before a big century beckons. Akshay can't be expected to come out in open and stake his claim on the much awaited milestone but his current crop of films is making his fans and followers state in unison that Housefull 2 and Rowdy Rathore are the two films that are all set to fetch big numbers. With 'masala' as the flavour of the season, this could well be the year for Akshay to get a couple of centuries under his belt and then extend his stardom to Joker and Khiladi 786 - Made In Punjab as well.

On the other hand, Saif Ali Khan has to play his cards well over next six weeks to ensure that his Agent Vinod turns out to be even bigger than his biggest solo success till date - Love Aaj Kal. For his multi crore affair, a lot is at stake and the waiting period of two years can be justified only after Agent Vinod marches past the 100 crore mark and allows Saif an entry into the elite zone. For someone who has been in the business for 20 years and is still agile enough to be found dancing to the tune of 'Twist', it is high time that Saif hits the century now. Just like Akshay, he too has a double chance of doing that, what with Race 2 releasing before the end of year. Notwithstanding a rare flop in Players from Abbas-Mustan, the director duo is still the trusted lot when it comes to a brand like Race. It would be rather surprising if this multi starrer doesn't meet the high expectations that one has set for it, both critically as well as commercially.

The younger ones would have to wait though

<img src="http://images.bollywoodhungama.com/img/feature/12/feb/reflections02.jpg" align="right"alt="Reflections">

Okay, so Ranbir Kapoor, Imran Khan and Emraan Hashmi are the flavours of the season and it is pretty much established that the season is going to be an extended one for sure, what with these players all set to enjoy a very long innings. However expecting them to deliver a 100 crore success so early in their career would be a little too much to ask.

After all Rockstar, despite all the appreciation for Ranbir and Rahman's music, could go only as far and came to an end before hitting the 70 crore mark. Similarly Imran too has been playing well consistently though with his score just about crossing the half century mark. He has proven his mettle with Delhi Belly as well as Mere Brother Ki Dulhan crossing the 50 crore mark last year. However, 100 crores in his kitty so soon in his career would be way too demanding for the youngster who would be fine to score consistently instead of dreaming way too high.

This is the reason why one keeps expectations in check from his Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu and Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Man Dola as well as Ranbir's Barfee and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, all of which are set for release before close of year. As long as these four films collect at least 50 crores each, the younger lot can be expected to stay happy and be in news for all the right reasons.

Same is the case with Emraan Hashmi as well who is seeing his stocks soaring, especially after Murder 2. However, even his big ticket films like Jannat 2 and Raaz 3 could well be accused of wishful thinking if someone attempts to tag them as '100 crore worth' blockbusters in the making. Yes, they should do well and there is no reason why both shouldn't enjoy at least 50 crore each in their kitty. However, whatever comes over and above this mark could well be treated as an added bonus and cherished, that's about it.

As for Shahid Kapoor, who seems to be going through a rather rough patch, he would be content enough to see his Teri Meri Kahaani turn into a clean hit and wipe away the deficit borne out of Mausam. The 100 crore milestone can certainly wait!

Club members would continue to call the shots

<img src="http://images.bollywoodhungama.com/img/feature/12/feb/reflections03.jpg" align="right"alt="Reflections">
Meanwhile even with soaring in-house competition, the already felicitated '100 crore' club members are all set to continue their winning streak. Whether it is Aamir, Salman, Shah Rukh or Ajay - each of them has at least a film each releasing this year that would continue to consolidate their place in the Top-5.

Let's begin with the next immediate 100 crore winner in the making. Aamir Khan's Talaash has seen great buzz building for itself over the last one year and if the response to the film's theatrical promo is anything to go by, there is no reason why Rs.100 crore shouldn't be collected in one week flat, leave aside waiting for a lifetime score. Though technically Aamir had a release in the form of Dhobi Ghat last year, for audience at large this is his first commercial biggie since 3 Idiots which means curiosity to check out Talaash (and hence ensuring quick moolah) is a given.

Immediately after Aamir Khan, it would be Ajay Devgn's turn to score big with Bol Bachchan where he returns with Rohit Shetty. With two centuries behind them in the form of Singham and Golmaal 3, a hat trick is pretty much on the cards, more so since it is a remake of much accepted Golmaal (with Amol Palekar). In fact what would be most notable is the fact that with the film, even Abhishek Bachchan could well gain an entry into the club! However if at all Ajay would be content only with a solo century then well, there is Son of Sardar releasing towards the end of the year. Though not much is known about it as yet, who knows that there may well be a pleasant surprise in store!

Ditto is the case with Shah Rukh Khan as well who is reuniting with his Veer Zaara director Yash Chopra. Centuries scored by Ra.One as well as Don 2 have ensured that King Khan continues to smile and this is only expected to break into a wide grin once this yet untitled film eventually hits the screen on Diwali.

Meanwhile one waits to see what his Ra.One co-star Kareena Kapoor accomplishes once her Heroine hits the screen. Okay, so it is too early to pitch the film as a Rs. 100 crore runner but then no one expected even The Dirty Picture to do even half of what it eventually did (Rs. 80 crores plus) at the box office. With Vidya Balan showing the way that a good story if told with conviction can pull audience in dozens. Now with Madhur Bhandarkar at the helm of affairs, the story part has been comfortably dealt with. It is now upon Kareena Kapoor to show how far she can carry Heroine on her shoulders and surprise audience.

It won't be surprising though when Salman extends his winning streak with Eid release Ek Tha Tiger. Just like Talaash, even this Yash Raj film would also be aiming to reach the milestone in a matter of one single week, hence giving Salman his third consecutive century after Bodyguard and Ready. As for his Christmas release Dabangg 2, it is a given that Rs. 100 crore is pretty much on the cards. Do we really need to state a reason why?

Joginder Tuteja

Tue, 7 Feb 2012 11:28:57

Nominations of Stardust Awards 2012

http://www.bollywoodhungama.com/movies/features/type/view/id/3060

Superstar Of Tomorrow - Male
